Shahrukh Khan to reprise Ilayathalapathy Vijay's role in the hindi remake of Theri






Actor Vijay's Tamil film Theri is rumoured to be remade in Hindi with Shah Rukh Khan reprising Ilaiyathalapathy's role and the film will be directed by Rohit Shetty.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay is still basking in the success of his latest Tamil film Theri, which has earned a whopping Rs 150 crore at the box office.
Now, the latest buzz is that Vijay's Theri will be remade in Hindi and is speculated that the project might be directed by Rohit Shetty.
Also, it is being rumoured that the Baadshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan might reprise the role of the immaculate IPS Vijayakumar in the Hindi remake.
Rohit Shetty has had many successful collaborations with King Khan including films like Chennai Express and the recent Diwale.
Sreedhar Pillai, a film trade analyst, in a recent article published in The Hindu, stated that Rohit Shetty is likely to remake the Hindi version with Shah Rukh Khan playing the lead.
Rohit Shetty has officially announced his next with Shah Rukh Khan. Notably, SRK is currently shooting for Anand L Rai's next, where the actor is touted to play a dwarf.
Earlier, Vijay's Thupakki was remade in Hindi as Holiday: A Solider Is Never Off Duty, which was a super-hit at the box office.   
If the reports are true, it would be exciting to see the Dilwale actor in this out-and-out commercial entertainer.
