Get that ripped body

When we watch these movies, talent shows, serials, Music and television videos etc. etc., I sit back and wonder, how do I get that ripped look like these upcoming Models and Heroes. Everyone wants to looks nice, feel good, stay healthy. That perfect body is also one of the reasons for confidence and a good Moral booster. Yeah! to get that perfect body to die for, will require a lot of hard work and extremely disciplined focus and determination.

Hmmm, but without following proper rules and without knowing the Do’s and Don’ts…Those months and years of hard workout could still give u nothing and leave you demotivated in the end. That is a common problem everyone falls prey to.

Lay of the sauce:All u party lovers have to keep your hands off alcohol. Alcohol causes fat to be stored instead of being used for energy. Essentially, your body will put a hold on the digestion of any food until the liver can excrete the alcohol. Alcohol also hurts you in two other areas, "It is a diuretic which dehydrates you and reduces energy levels. It also can decrease testosterone in our bodies which is critical for creating muscle,"

Substitute veggies with your fruits: Fruit is great, we have all been learning this since our school times. It is full of nutrients and antioxidants to help protect the body, but the downside is that they’re also full of sugars (carbs). How do you not lose out on all the benefits? Swap in veggies for fruit. This strategy allows you to keep the nutrients and antioxidants, but your sugar/carb and total calorie intake will be reduced. Bingo! Problem solved.

Ditch cardio for weights and circuits: Want to get lean, hit the cardio machine. Wrong. “You will not make more muscle this route,” says Tim McComsey (renowned Fitness expert and Dietitian). When you do cardio you're burning calories, but you're missing the muscle growth stimulation from weight training. "The more muscle that you have, the more calories and fat you'll be burning," he says. So it is highly recommended to hit the weight room 3-4 days per week with one of the days being a circuit style with a variety of exercises

Eat more fat:  “Fat doesn’t make you fat, too much food makes you fat,” Consuming more fat in your diet will actually help curb cravings after you’ve reduced your carb intake. Fats help curb hunger because it takes the body longer to break down, use or store. Hormones also play a role, especially when it comes to muscle-supporting testosterone. Fats are needed to create and balance out hormones in our body to function normally.

Have a carbohydrate strategy: We’ve heard it all before, “carbs are the enemy.” Well, not really. Completely slashing your carbohydrate intake will certainly help with dropping the pounds (and fast) but you’ll also be left feeling cranky, tired and lethargic. Carbs are essential for life as our brain and CNS requires them continuously to work properly. Restricting carbs completely will allow for any muscle mass to be metabolized to provide us with energy.

I hope some of these pointers would be of a little use to all you people. One must always work hard and eat smart. Cutting off something completely from a normal routine is not recommended unless and until you have successfully researched its side effects. Eat smart and stay Fit!

Apple's new A8 processor?

Apple is reportedly rumoured to be working on its next CPU, the A8. A trio of semiconductor product packaging companies have reportedly been tapped by Apple to help supply the company's next-generation "A8" mobile processor, according to a new rumour.

Amkor Technology, STATS ChipPAC and Advanced Semiconductor Engineering will all handle packaging orders for the "A8" chip, according to DigiTimes. The next processor likely to power Apple's 2014 iPhone and iPad upgrades is rumored to be a package-on-package system-on-a-chip solution with processors and mobile DRAM in a single package.

Amkor and STATS are each said to have landed 40 percent of Apple's future chip packaging orders, with the remaining 20 percent being covered by ASE.

The report also claims that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. is planning to ramp up production of its 20-nanometer chipmaking process to begin building Apple's rumored "A8" chip. Production is said to begin in the second quarter of 2014.

TSMC has been rumored to land Apple chip orders
for years, but the alleged partnership between the two companies has never actually come to be. To date, Apple's rival Samsung has produced all of the company's mobile processors in Austin, Tex.

Once again it's rumored that TSMC will break into Apple's chip production business
this year, potentially sharing some of the production capacity for "A8" processors with Samsung.

Apple's most recent mobile processor, the A7, powers the iPhone 5s, iPad Air, and iPad mini with Retina display. This has marked the first time that Apple has used the same chip in all of its latest iPhones and iPads. Lets watch this space for more and watch how does apple's new A8 processor takes shape.

Fifa World Cup 2014 official Song:

“We Are One”, the song by Pitbull featuring Jennifer Lopez and Brazilian singer Claudia Leitte has been named as the official song for the 2014 World Cup soccer tournament today by FIFA and Sony Music. The song is set to be released in the coming months by Sony Music, while a video for “We Are One (Ole Ola)” is also being worked on. The tournament kicks off on the 12th of June in Sao Paulo, while the song will be performed at the World Cup opening ceremony.

“I truly believe that this great game and the power of music will help unify us,” Pitbull said during an official announcement yesterday at the Macarena Stadium in Rio de Janeiro. “Because we are best when we are one.”

Jerome Valcke, FIFA General Secretary has emphasized on the importance of Claudia Leitte’s participation, who is a well-known Brazilian pop singer and is also the judge on the show The Voice Brasil.

“FIFA and Sony Music are extremely excited to share the impressive talent of Claudia Leitte with the world alongside such internationally celebrated artists as Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez,” Valcke said.

“In my many visits to this country I’ve seen and heard a lot about the great Brazilian music tradition and it gives me great pleasure to see a Brazilian artist at the heart of this song. I’m sure, like me, millions of football and music fans all over the world will be eagerly awaiting the song’s release.”

Leitte has expressed her excitement towards dancing samba with Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez. The song, whose details are yet to be revealed is expected to include English, Spanish and Portuguese lyrics.

“Waka Waka” the official song for the last World Cup by Shakira and Freshly Ground, a South African group; has sold over 1,7400,000 digital downloads to date. Even this week it was No. 2 on the Latin Digital Songs chart, while previously it had spent 42 weeks on the top. The video has received over 600 million hits on YouTube.

Cant wait for Pitbull, Jennifer and Claudia to create magic. This one will be a magnum Hit and will top all the charts.

Chelsea 3 Manchester United 1 (19/01/2014)

With the Premier League title race getting thicker and thicker, this game was as important as it can be for both the sides. With Chelsea keeping tabs and just about being there at the top, it was important for them to with after both Arsenal and Manchester City winning their games. And Moye’s side would be wanting to end their recent woeful form in the League with a win at Stamford Bridge.

But it was Jose Mourinho's Chelsea side that stormed to an impressive 3-1 win over Premier League rivals Manchester United thanks largely to a Samuel Eto'o hat-trick. Chelsea fans were left scratching their heads before kick-off as many would have selected Fernando Torres ahead of the Cameroonian for the huge clash. Eto'o, however, fully justified his selection with a poachers hat-trick and sterling frontman performance that Chelsea fans have missed so much since the departure of Didier Drogba.

The game started off with United looking very dangerous and strong. But their dominance in the midfield could not be extended in both the boxes, because of which United have paid the price today. Some very very ordinary defence and managing to capitalize their chances was the reason for their downfall today.

Chelsea went ahead when Eto’o went past Phil Jones and his shot from near the edge of the penalty area looped over keeper David de Gea via the boot of the unfortunate Michael Carrick.

Eto’o, second goal came when he found Cahill’s low cross after a corner was only half-cleared in first-half injury time. The same players were involved in Chelsea’s third three minutes after the break, Eto’o following up to score after De Gea had kept out Cahill’s header from Willian’s right-wing corner.

This win means Jose Mourinho's side continue their impressive run at home and are still at thrid with just two points behind Arsenal. But Manchester United are now at seventh place with 14 points behind the league leaders. So their minimum requirement of reaching the top four is also looking bleak.

Just makes me wonder how will United pick themselves up from here, with the January transfer window still open. And will Moyes be the next manager to see the axe fall on him before the season end.

Well if Mourinho was selected as United's coach, what do you think would have been Manchester United's position today in the league?

Ballon d’Or 2013…

The FIFA Ballon d'Or is an association football award given annually to the player who is considered to have performed the best in the previous year. It is awarded based on votes by coaches and captains of international teams, as well as journalists from around the world…blah blah blah blah…..We all know the importance of ballon d’Or in the footballing world. The one who wins it, surely would be considered the No.1 for this coming year. It is and will always be every footballers dream.

This year’s Boost of an impressive finalist with the likes of Christiano Ronaldo, Frank Ribery and Lionel Messi. Who will win it??? With everyone tipping the ex-United and the Real Madrid star Christiano Ronaldo to beat Messi and Ribery. And why not I would say, the stats don’t lie.

Let’s not forget Ronaldo’s exceptionally stunning performance to steer Portugal to qualify for this year’s World Cup. He has already come second twice before and has won the ballon d'Or only once in 2008, so he would definately be itching to get his hands on this coveted achievement. I guess this would be his ideal way to put to rest all the speculation about being better than Messi or being world’s No.1

The Bayern Munich and France star is the third favourite behind the bookies’ overwhelming market leader Christiano Ronaldo and the winner of the prize in the last three years, Lionel Messi. But Ribery, who starred for his club en route to their domestic Double and Champions League triumphs last season, believes it is he who should be honored in Zurich.

Now lets not leave Messi behind. Arguably named the world’s best by some of the footballing greats. Recently, legendary Pele said, Messi is like him. Ufff….we don’t need to say anymore. His recent injury has kept him on the sidelines for some time now. But the winner of the last three years Ballon d’Or is a strong strong contender to retain it for the fourth consecutive year.

This Debate can go on and on and on and on, but we are just few hours away from the ballon d’Or to be named winner. What do you guys think of the winner this year? I place my bet on the ever so arrogant, stylish, hard worker, talented Christiano Ronaldo.

Gaming all the way into 2014:

Yes, 2014 is here! And we have all danced out hearts out. But the party doesn’t end just yet. Cuz all you gamers are in for a treat, as 2014 does not only look promising but it is freaking awesome. Well I am already on the edge of my seat. But only time will tell if these games live out to the hype it has generated. I have listed down some of the most anticipated games coming to your nearest PC’s and PlayStation's this 2014.

1.   Destiny: (PS3, PS4, XBOX 360, XBOX One) – Releasing on 9th Sept 2014

There is so much of hype and buzz about Destiny, once wonders if it is all noise and less details. If anyone wants a game about vast explorable space opera set within a persistent massively-multiplayer universe it's probably Bungie, the creator of the Halo series. The backdrop and looks are quite similar, but the idea of a first-person shooter set within a vast planet-hopping adventure where you can randomly encounter and team up with other players is a scintillating one. What is in hold for this game’s destiny, I think it will not disappoint the Halo fans.

2.   Thief: (PC, PS3, PS4, XBOX 360, XOne) – Releasing February 25th 2014

Our entire wait is over as the long awaited rebirth of the legendary stealth series is here. Since it was first announced almost 5 years ago we've seen Dishonored and heard about The Order 1886, which both use dark steam punk cities and conspiracy-laden plots to very familiar effect. If the Game play is as open and tactically diverse like the earlier ones, we are in for a treat. It has a very good sleek look and is very visually rich. Decade old wait is finally over.

3.   Titanfall: (PC, Xbox360, Xbox One) – Releasing on 11th March 2014

By what I saw and felt while playing the Demo of Titanfall on Gamescom 2013, this could easily be one of my favourites. It gives u what u want, with the fast-paced super-three-dimensional combat of Quake and the thundering military impact of the Modern Warfare titles. Developer Respawn Entertainment has a winner here with a game having it all from movement skill, accuracy and tactics into one experience. Leaping between rooftops while waiting for your Titan mech to be delivered and then stamping along city streets blasting players from the air like clay pigeons is ridiculous fun.

4.   Bayonetta 2: (Nintendo, Wii U) Release date TBA(2014)

There was so much teeth crunching excitement when Platinum Games announced last September that its follow-up to the cult hack-n-slasher would be a Wii U exclusive. A little disappointment that it will be sorely missed on PC and PS versions. But Bayonetta 2 trailer packed more megaton combos and ridiculous mid-air demon skirmishes into 60 seconds than seems humanly possible – even for Platinum. With the addition of a two-player mode, this is going to be chaos. In a Hell of a good way.

5.   Dark Souls II: (PC, PS3, XBOX 360) – Releasing on March 11th 2014

Even though we have a new director helming and taking this series forward, Tomohiro Shibuya, has promised a sublime action packed role-player that will retain the essential elements of its predecessor along with exploring new avenues. We have been promised of much more in dept story background, an expanded and revised online experience, as well as vehicles. Ha Ha Ha…..so more likely to expect chariots and galleons, than monsters driving jeeps. I Pray.

6.   Driveclub: (Sony, PS4) – Releasing early 2014.

This is a planned PlayStation 4 launch. With breath taking inclusions like multiplayer RPG driving, players competing in events all over the world and , team-up in co-op squads to extend their influence and abilities. Evolution Studios is surely taking this title skywards as the future of social gaming. This will surely be an interesting year for racers. Get Zap Zoommmm!

7.   The Witcher 3: (Microsoft Windows, PS4, XBOX One) – Releasing in Quater2 of 2014

If you consider The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to be the number one game to look forward to for 2014, I don't blame you. CD Projekt RED has something really special on their hands as we continue the story of Geralt of Rivia. The Witcher 3 comes as the third installment of the series introducing a living open world larger than any other in modern RPG history. The witcher 3 has been described as 20% bigger than Skyrim. Now this is one big big big action packed role-playing game. CD Projekt RED anticipates approximately 100hrs for the completion of the main story and open-world quests. Are you aching to explore the all new open world of The Witcher 3 and cover the land with corpses?
Then get ready to unleash those shinning blades.

8.   Dying light: (Microsoft Windows, PS3, PS4, XBOX 360,  XBOX One) – Releasing this 2014

Dying Light is a first-person, action survival horror game set in a vast and dangerous open world. During the day, players traverse an expansive urban environment overrun by a vicious outbreak, scavenging the world for supplies and crafting weapons to defend against the growing infected population. At night, the hunter becomes the hunted, as the infected become aggressive and more dangerous. Most frightening are the predators which only appear after sundown. Players must use everything in their power to survive until the morning’s first light. Hmmmmmm…are you scared already.

9.   South Park The Stick of Truth: (PC, PS3, XBOX360) – Releasing on 4th March 2014

There were two games I was most impressed with at this year's E3, and one of them was South Park: The Stick of Truth. Written and voiced by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. The Stick of Truth stays true to the show's humor and love of playing video games. Like every fantasy RPG game, you'll have attacks and spells, but they have a very South Park way of being performed. When we saw the game, we laughed the entire time. It looks and feels like an episode of South Park, and it even ties into the show.

10. Tom Clancy’s The Division: (PC, PS$, XBOX One) – Releasing date TBA

The list could not be complete without this one. When I think of what a next-gen game should look and be like, this is it. The Division revolves around real-world events that revealed how vulnerable our society has become. As a member of the “Strategic Homeland Division, called “The Division” for short, it is your mission to combat the threat and do whatever it takes to save what remains. Taking place in New York City after a disease was spread on Black Friday, causing the United States to collapse in five days, you, your friends and AI will have to prevent the fall of society. Need I say more.
Even more amazing than the story is the visuals. In an online world like this where you fight with and against real players, it's amazing the detail and realism that is present in every ray of light, shard of glass, drop of water and stray bullet. This is next-gen gaming. But with lots of rumors that The Division could miss 2014 release, all we could do is just pray…

What do you guys feel about the list…I am sure I missed out on quite a few. To be quite frank, I picked the ones I personally like a lot. Thanks and Happy New year to all.
